Attempted to write a tutorial covering basic Html5 core game concepts.
Simulating a real camera's depth of field in a game can lead to some nifty visuals. Blurring 2D sprites based on how far away they are the player's current view is a quick and easy way to fake this. I wanted to be able to blur the sprites in terms of actual lens parameters like focal length and f-stop.
I needed to compute the moment of innertia of simple concave polygons. The idea was to allow a user to draw a shape and then attach thrusters, guns, etc.
